Tactic #232: When you’re losing, accuse the other side of racism.
*sigh*
Used to be this was an effective tactic. You find yourself in the middle of a losing streak, just point your finger and yell, “Racism!” and the other guy would start crawfishing, yelping denials and looking guilty as hell.
Dirty pool, but it worked a treat.
I sincerely hope that the over-use of this tactic has rendered it useless, particularly in this debate.
Securing our borders is too important of a topic to be sidetracked by one side jumping up on the table and shrieking, “Oh my God, Racism!” when they notice that they aren’t winning the debate.
Besides, the immigration laws and border control procedures used by the Mexican Government are a hell of a lot more stringent and Draconian than anything we’ve come with so far, why aren’t these people pointing and shrieking at the Mexican Government?

Because that would be racist…right?
Racism only applies to Caucasians; all others are “ethnically biased”.
I believe it was Socrates who said “When you have nothing upon which to base your argument, abuse your opponent.”
Gee… let’s see. Who is it that is coming across our southern border? Could it be… Hispanics?
I don’t see many illegal Caucasian immigrants coming it.
Frickin’ idiots.
When discussing illeagle immigration with anyone I refuse to accept any hint of racism in the debate.
Whenever someone tries to use the “race” garbage I insist that it is completly irrelevant, that illegal is illegal.
