My friend Larry Correia of Fuzzy Bunny Movie Guns (Fear the Bunny!) would like me to mention that the State of Utah allows concealed carry in schools.

Bearing that fact in mind, and in light of the recent murders in Virginia, the Staff of Fuzzy Bunny Movie Guns have decided to offer their Utah CCW class to any Utah qualified University student or faculty member for free.

You can’t beat free.

I believe FBMG is also offering a couple of other classes for half-price.

    I also find it somewhat amusing that the loudmouth claiming to be from Oregon a few posts back wasn’t aware that the State of Oregon also allows concealed carry (by holders of concealed handgun licenses) in schools (public and private, including colleges & universities).

  2. That’s great news. The Fuzzy Bunny crew should be soundly celebrated for this.

    Sadly, here in the Table Top State (NE) the U has posted the state signs that carry fines and entries on the police record if we violate.

    I asked the chancellor of the local U. of Nebraska campus to work to change that.

    His answer: Don’t count on it changing anytime soon.

    Gee, thanks, sir. I hope that “interim” on your title soon becomes “former” chancellor.

  3. Hwy Dawg, what do you suggest for persuading Texas to change its laws regarding CCW by CHLers at schools? We need to get Perry to sign something, while he’s still in office!

    I say that the difference between real safety and “FEELING” safe is a good mindset, awareness and a weapon!

    When my daughter’s ready to finish her schoolin’, that’s where she’ll go.Unless they’ve changed the law by then…

    And Papi will be in every class with her in case she forgot her “Pink 44”.

  12. The Utah law actually goes beyond just allowing CCW in schools and universities. It also prohibits state universities from making any rules that would prohibit their students from carrying.

    As a University of Utah student, I take full advantage of this.
