I have been notified that my little scribblings have been nominated for the Bloggers Choice Awards.

I’d like to thank HollyB, who nominated me not only for ‘Best Blog About Stuff’, but also ‘Best Blog Of All Time’, ‘Best Humour Blog’ and ‘Best Pop Culture Blog’.

I don’t know about ‘best’, but I am deeply honoured to be nominated.

Thanks, Holly. And thanks to everyone who takes the time to read my little scribblings — if it weren’t for y’all, I probably would have wandered on to other things long ago.

You want to do what?
Great Horned Toads!

  1. Well lawdog, I voted for you in all four categories, but you’ve got a ways to go yet…..

  2. And this surprises you…how? You’re one of the best storytellers in the blogosphere, Dawg.

My only dilemma is what category to vote in. Well, that and more than a little jealousy. 😉

I already voted for Boobs, Injuries and Dr. Pepper for the Best Humor Blog, but I’m definitely voting for you in one of the other categories.

  3. Though our styles and purposes are quite different, LD, you are why I began a blog. I suppose if I used the word “inspiration” it might be a little embarrassing?

Now if we could just get you to post twice a day… 😉

  4. If only I could write as well as you…you do, however, give me incentive and goals when I write for family, friends and occasional others.

  5. You have my vote!
I would very much like it if you continued writing your “scribblings” for many a year!

  6. I just wish I could have CREATED a category for Best LEO Blog.
    You’re Welcome!

  7. Congrats, ‘Dawg!

You’re in the big time, now. 🙂

    (About that book… 😉 )

  8. Thank you, Holly, for nominating LD. He truly deserves to win each and ever category he was nominated in.

Congrats, LD. I sincerely hope you win. 🙂

  9. You’re surprised? Why? 🙂

By the way, I’m trying to get some people to head over to my other blog. I hope you don’t mind me posting a link here:

I figure there are some like-minded people reading your blog, and even if there aren’t, as I say in my profile, even if they don’t agree with me, at least they’re reading.

  10. Son, the nice men in white coats come after you with a net on a fairly regular basis, don’t they?

I’m sure this won’t be a first: your fourteen pages of gibberish have been deleted.

  11. I have always favored the 147 bullet theory.

I never did figure out where the Girl Scout troop on the Grassy Gnole got that Ma Duece, however.
