  1. Lawdog, part of your job is talking on the radio, right?   Just saying?   Anyway, good luck tonight/tomorrow!

  2. Hell, if’n you can deal with some of these yahoos we hear about on a daily basis, this oughta be a piece of cake.

  3. Just be yourself – you know guarded and careful, but eloquent too – you will do just fine

  4. Well that was excellent! And the sound was way better. I’m just frustrated I couldn’t figure out how to send an IM question through. Do it again? πŸ™‚

  5. You were fine.

Homeboy running the show was waaaaay too quiet by comparison.

Sorry that more didn’t call in – 1 am is a bit late for most people.

  6. LD,

I must give you the advice of an OB doc that I worked with at a hospital one time long, long ago. It is what he would tell his patients when they were in the throes of labor. Take into account he was Korean, and had quite an accent.

    “Breeze Deeply”

    Translation: “Breathe Deeply”

It was so hard to keep from laughing when he would say that to a patient.

  7. I just finished listening to the interview, midnight is way too early for those of use that get up at 5am. You sounded great and I finally figured out how to pronounce Tamera’s name as well as Marko’s. Good job, you sounded great.

  8. Just listened to it, sounded fine. Actually, oddly enough your voice sounds a lot like a couple of my friends!? One of the reasons I enjoy your stories so much is that as a kid I did things that were similar (notably minus pythons, ratel, etc) to many of your tales from the Nigerian period. Somehow I survived and still have all my digits. Just wanted you to know how much I and several of my friends enjoy your blog, we read it daily.

    Take care and best wishes.

  9. Hahahaha cool!
    I was an 11m Lawdog!
    I got out in 96.
remember what they say, Once Cav, always Cav.
