Some time ago, I wound up — purely by chance — in a group discussion on TxFellowship over at BlogTalkRadio.
A friend of mine who took various Interview and Interrogation courses with me many, many moons ago stayed up to listen, and called me afterwards to ask about a couple of the other panel members. We got to postulating about verbal cues, and wound up betting the afore-mentioned steak dinner regarding those two.
Today I discover that one of us owes the other steak and taters.
Congratulations, AD and Babs, I’ll think happily of you two kids as I chase my rare ribeye around the plate.

LawDog
Happy to oblige, Lawdog. Enjoy π
But could somebody explain to me what these “cues” were? I’ve listened to that thing again and I still don’t hear it.
I guess I’m not objective. I figured I hid it well, but geez, am I that transparent?
I suppose that means I should never commit a crime, because I’d play hell lying about it. π
Well AD, when you and I talked earlier before “your” interview, you made certain statements that left me in no doubt that you were heeling harder than a blue tick hound for a certain lovely Lass. I’m just glad I had the opportunity to allow you 2 to get to voice yourselves π
Well now..conga rats.
And I figured something was up even though I don’t know ya two very well just by reading the blogs…its there..if you know what to look for.
Regardless its good news…and good job on the steak there LD…
Uhh, hate to tell you Babs, but I’d have taken that steak dinner bet three weeks ago. Something in the way you two referred to one another clued me in.
