The snark is strong with this one.

Goddess knows that I’m not a fan of John McCain, but you’ve got to give the man props where they’re due.

Annoyed by the one-sided press coverage, McCain has hauled off and had some of his minions create a couple of videos of the juiciest media fawning, added appropriate love songs, and posted them on his campaign site under a poll so that viewers may select the “Best Song For Their Devotion”.

  1. Tha man has a sense of humor-something I find conspicuously absent in Osama, er, Obama.

  2. But did he come up with it, or just some staffer?
    What difference would that make?

  3. Who cares who came up with it? You can be sure that Osama’s announcement that his kids could have a dog once he was in the White House -oh, pardon me, is that a racial slur?-was thunk up by a ‘staffer.’ Many Moslems dispise dogs-a dog’s life in one of the Middle Eastern countries is wretched, indeed, if it survives various tortures- because it was a dog who ‘betrayed’ Mohammed to his enemies. Now, if I were a ‘staffer’ and wanted to be unscrupulous, I could really make something out that and of Osama’s kids not having a dog as yet.
Yours from a former newspaper reporter.

  4. Who cares who came up with it.

I’m still trying to get over the statement, “a thrill ran up my leg”.

My God, but that was funny (I wouldn’t confess that to my wife, let alone to network viewers).

  5. Is it gone already? I clicked on the link, but it just took me to McCain’s homepage.
