I was in my late teens when I finally discovered that the song was not, “Got to rescue Mary, gentlemen, let nothing you delay.”
These days, I think I prefer my teenage version.
Huh.
In that spirit, here is Ronnie James Dio, doing what he did best:
LawDog
'There's a bathroom on the right'
'donuts make by brown eyes blue'
'tuna hot dog' (Do the Hustle)
'slow-motion Walter, fire engine guy'
(smoke on the water, fire in the sky)
There's a series of books filled with these!
I blame bad AM radio speakers, slurring singers and wasted audiences! – gfa
"Good king Wenceslaus once looked down, on his feets, uneven."
"Here we go a waffling, a waffling today. Here we go a waffling upon this Christmas Day."
Let's see…
"While shepherds washed their socks by night…"
"Atomic bomb, atomic bomb…"
I wish I could think of more, darn it!
Second reference (that I know of) to Dio, from you or other friends/blogers of yours. Rock-on LawDog and Merry Christmas!

For the longest time, my eldest thought
'Good tidings we bring'
in "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"
was:
"Good chinese we bring"
We loved it.
"Deck the halls with loaves of challah"….
So what else would you expect of a Jewish 4 year old? -_^
Just picked a random post from 2011 and was rewarded with a noteworthy Chrismas heavy metal carole (my favorite). Here's a thumbs up (or paws-up if you prefer). Thanks!
