  1. Or did they?

Congressional Honey Badger *may* not, but can, and frequently does.

  2. It took me a while, but I agree with KBCraig.

Remember, the First Amendment (like all the others) is a stricture upon government.

So it is possible that something that the government does will result in a violation of the First Amendment restriction on government.

It is not possible that ANYTHING that a PRIVATE honey badger does can violate the Amendment's restriction on government.

    1. Actually, "UrsulaV gamergate" might be a better search term. And hey, there's another group of decent, bully-hating folks Mz. Ursula has (intentionally or otherwise) painted with the brush of "banal evil" that originally served to describe (accurately in his case, by all accounts) Adolph Eichmann. Ok, I really am shutting up now. God bless. 🙂

  3. So an ordinary citizen can't infringe upon another citizens rights? So theft isn't a thing? Rape? Murder? Oh, no, Mz. Ursula -"Sad Puppies are 'banal evil' just like Adolph Eichmann (Implied. The "banality of evil" quote was originally about one of the principal architects of the holocaust, Adolph Eichmann)!"- Vernon (google "UrsulaV Sad Puppies" to get an idea of why I lost all respect for this woman) is merely suggesting that only members of *congress* can infringe upon other citizens rights. Because no ordinary citizen ever made it impossible for someone to speak without fearing for their life…right…and Elijah Parish Lovejoy wasn't lynched for exercising his 1Amendment rights to promote abolishing slavery. Private organizations absolutely *can* infringe upon your right to free speech. Ask FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights in Education) about it sometime. Or ask Popehat. Is it as cut-and-dried as it is when congress does it? No. But that doesn't mean it's impossible. Sorry, I think this is my second post here and already I got out the damned soapbox/shoulder chip. I'll shut up now. *sheepish expression*

  4. Congressional honey badgers… Actually, turning loose some honey badgers in various halls of government just might be an idea with something to be said for it.
